3/23 Gosseliin Season Finale!

B-Ball & More
The Gosselin family goes to see the Harlem Globetrotters, but there's more in store than just amazing basketball! (I hope the rumors are true that they got booed!)

Family Outing
The Gosselin clan heads to a unique museum where the kids learn and explore through tactile exhibits designed for touching. It's a day of feel good fun for the whole family (Paid for by TLC and I am sure with the VIP treatment!)!

RECAP
We’re just going to lump all this hot mess together.

The first episode of the night boiled down to shopping, haircuts, Harlem Globetrotters and lies.
The kids are going to Oprah so they all need hair cuts. “It’s our live- pack unpack pack again.” We must coordinate, says Kate in her annoying monotone. Jon said he was helping his mother during this time because she had a broken foot and her husband was gone.

Kate and Jon have a “helper” (seems to be more part time than full time and isn’t really a nanny.) According to Kate, “We have a helper, we do not have a nanny, we will never, ever have a nanny….” Whhhhhat? What about nannies4hire? Jenny? Others?

Just so you know:
According to
The Free Dictionary a nanny is, “a woman whose job is looking after young children.” Hmmmm

According to
American Nannies , a nanny is, “A nanny is a person whose primary and sometimes only function is limited to caring for the children.

According to
WordNet from Princeton University (yes, that one), a nanny is, “a woman who is a custodian of children.” You be the judge.

“We always eat organic”, “we will never eat fast food.” Also famous lies, er quotes from Kate.

Kate waxes on about how she feels now that the kids are getting older. She says she’s lonely when they are “dispersed” in the house- they are “like growing up”. Yep, that would be what it is! And she graces us with her laughing cow expression when remembering her bad fashion choices of the past (for us non-star folk, that means before she had a wardrobe guru and a PR rep). Kate admits she LOVES shopping.

The nanny, let’s just be honest, doesn’t want to be on camera- or else she had to sign an agreement, which is what I think. So while Kate shopped, the kids stayed with a babysitter. At the last minute, it was decided the Oprah show would be via satellite. Kate had to shop for NEW outfits for all the kids. I have no idea why.

Then it was off to get hair cut. Hannah wanted her hair cut and Kate said no. Cara wanted to keep her hair and Kate said no. It’s clear who is still the favorite.

Before they saw “Oprey” again, they went to a Harlem Globetrotters session. You can’t begin to get me to swallow that the Harlem Globetrotters are huge fans of Jon and Kate Plus 8. Why, is there no mention of the Gosselins on the HGT website—a fav link might be a good thing on your website if you endorse them, Harlem Globetrotters, if they are your FAVORITES!

By the way, if you are outraged that the favored Gosselins got to meet the Trotters and not the special needs kids, here is their contact info:

Harlem Globetrotters
400 E. Van Buren #300
Phoenix, AZ 85004
Phone: 800-641-HOOP
Fax: 602-258-5925
info@harlemglobetrotters.com

Nichole Tillman is the VP of Publicity- I’d start there. Or try Kelley Lovell-Taylor, VP of Sales and Marketing.

According to the HGT website: “The Harlem Globetrotters are owned by Shamrock Capital Growth Fund. Shamrock, based in Burbank, Calif., is the investment entity of the Roy E. Disney family, founded in 1978 by Mr. Disney and Stanley P. Gold, Shamrock’s president and chief executive. “ Just in case you want to know who is truly responsible for their actions.

Jon put a blatant plug in for Allstate, right after we came back from commercial break, with (you guessed it) an Allstate commercial. Yeah, like Jon’s comment was spontaneous. “I have to do a lot of work this afternoon. My Allstate agent said…..” Whatever, eunuch.

Kate called the HGT “stupid fun”. Great way to treat your “fans”, Kate. I swear this woman has diarrhea of the mouth. Although we didn’t hear the boos we were told were part of the HGT session, be aware that sound editors can edit quite a bit out- as can video editors. But also notice that there was voice over from Jon and Kate when all the kids were taken out onto the floor—masking boos? And I don’t understand Cara being the chosen one. Let’s ignore Mady. Mady gets braces, Cara gets special meet and greets. Nice that they get swag from HBT. I’m sure other deserving folks would like a chance. Moving on….

During “Family Outing” Jon was “on a trip” and the kids were going to make paintings for him. They went to a Touch Museum. The “trip” was supposedly to his mom’s house because her foot was broken.

Jon has gained a lot of weight. His face has become quite round. Like the balls he’s missing.

Kate whines about the couch and then talks about making paintings. Kate talked about the studio being “paint covered” like it was the crabs or something. Kate then admits she wants art for her walls in the colors she wants (we all KNEW the paintings weren’t for Jon, didn’t we?). Kate had to choose colors—so they would match her home. Why not just let the kids be KIDS for once? Too much for your OCD nature, Kate? I am sure Jon missed out on all of this while he was partying with the sorority chicks.

Kate decided to tune everything (meaning the paint mess) out by painting her own canvas- that’s what they used to do in mental institutions back in the day, too. Kate, of course, shows her off first. Kate rolled her eyes when Jon complemented the paintings and said they could hang in Soho. What an idiot she is.

When they did the museum trip, Jon kept saying how much he had to help his mother, who had a broken foot and needed help. Again. So they go through the museum, Kate freaks out about the kids getting wet. What do you expect?

Ahhh and what we’ve been teased about: Kate is ready for season 5. Jon is having a problem being Jon when he has a public image to uphold as J & K Plus 8. They are at an “odd place” because they can’t go back to anonymity (really? Yes you can. STOP THE SHOW.) Jon kept saying it is all difficult for him to be a stay at home dad and Kate is happy with the course of things. (Hint, Jon: Get. a. job. ) Since we know they’ve signed on for Season 5 and because Kate is happy, they will be back, you can be sure of that. I wonder what ever happened to if it becomes a bad thing for the family that they will quit?

Oh, and I saw a preview for Table for 12 (yes, I know it aired already) but there seems to be an awful lot of product placement for Ragu. I am sure this family will go the same route as Jon and Kate- sellouts.

I don't like Kate ONE BIT but I really hope the kids didn't realize they were being booed. It isn't their fault that greedy Kate drags them on all these excursions.

When they are older and the perks stop, how are they ever going to adjust to waiting in lines with the "common folks"?

Kate had to "shop" for Oprah because the new spring line of Gymboree just came out.
They were all wearing matching outfits - sleeveless in March in Pennsylvania while J&K had on sweaters.

Who wouldn't buy new clothes to be on national television?! I know I would. Jesus, get a grip. It's pretty sad that your life sucks so bad that you can do nothing but post jealous vitriol about people you see a fraction of on tv, and then assume the rest of their feelings and lives. It's probably time to turn off your tv.

I was watching an old episode of Jon & Kate last week. My seven year old daughter said "Kate was nice to Jon when they were babies." It is so true. She was nice before all of this went to her head. You didn't hear her bark at him one time. Now that she is thin and has her hair styled she thinks she is better than Jon. I think Kate needs to know that everyone has their breaking point. Just because you have eight kids together doesn't mean he won't walk one day. She needs to start treating him as a partner not a child.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? Jon, Kate and their family are doing everything right. If you were offered what they have been blessed with, you would accept it too!! The children are healthy, happy and well adjusted. There is nothing wrong with being successful and having money. Not to mention the HGT may be huge fans of the show but probably can't officially endorse the show dues to legal reasons and contracts, duh. Why don't you get off your high horse! Of course there are families with greater needs than the Gosselin family, but that doesn't mean they should feel bad about their blessings. Why don't you stop blogging and obsessively hating people and go help out at a shelter if you're so worried about it. It really sucks that people like you spend this much energy on being hateful and trying to tear other people down. It's pathetic and you should really think about what that says about you.

Crystal, What's probably most disturbing here is that instead of you following your own advice, you're actually taking the time to cut us down. Which says a lot about you. If you're so concerned about it, try to get a job with the Gosselin PR machine. Have a nice day.

Amanda, perhaps you should take your own advice and step away from your computer or shut it down. You seem a bit bitter. And you seem to be assuming quite a bit about folks who frequent the blog. Or I can refer you to the FAQ. Don't like it, don't read it. I love snark and so long as the Gs bring stupidity to the table and for as long as it interests me, I'll state my opinions. Go take your meds like a good girl.

finally the season ends - and I have to admit that I tune in just to watch the train wreck. Jon is clearly a beaten man at this point and wants out. Out of the marriage ? the show ? They clearly have no affection for one another. Also, I doubt seriously the HGT sought them out to be featured - I am sure TLC or Kate had something to do with that. Am also sure they covered up the BOOS from the audience. The look on Jons face when Kate said they called them told that "story". I think Jon is sick of the "tales of Kate the Shrew".
They have become two of the greediest people I have ever seen. I also recall in earlier episodes that Kate hated shopping and Jon had to help DRESS her. Now all of a sudden Kate loves to SHOP and loves to dress in those expensive trendy clothes. While nobody would begrudge anyone else success, it certainly is sickening to watch the greed, the false sense of entitlement and the exploitation of their children. The children will be the ones to suffer. Regardless of the amount of money that is amassed those kids will be affected by this. One already shows signs of deep seated anger (Mady) In case you all have not noticed Mady is rarely featured on the show at all anymore. I am sure they are reacting to the negative press surrounding this poor child, and not giving much opportunity for the viewers to see her REACT. Always remember that every reaction stems from an action. This child reacts to the fact that he mother couldn't care less that her child is suffering. Kate is all about Kate. One day she will be sorry. That's if she has any feelings at all. She stated last night, while her husband is obviously verbalizing his pain, that she loves it all ! Now I ask you, if your husband and family were so negatively impacted by your actions, would you not STOP. Any normal feeling person would. Marriage first, then children. I just wish the world would wake up and stop defending these people. Poor Jon escaped on a ski trip with his daughter Cara. The only time I
have seen Jon enjoy himself. While sitting at dinner with Cara, I hear him say "I love you" to her. I could feel some sadness in him, as if he knows, they are a shattered family. How sad. now I am not completely defending Jon, he clearly has issues as well, but after so many years being beaten by a control freak, that is what you get, a broken helpless shell of a man. If a man treated his wife the way Kate treats Jon, it would be considered emotional abuse at the very least. I say to Jon, GET OUT, RUN, take your children with you! Stand up and tell the world the truth. This was a mistake.
There is so much to be said here and so little space. If they would just say, this started out as a fun thing to do to make some cash but it has turned into a circus and we must quit, I would have more respect, but clearly that is not what Kate wants.
again I say, how sad.

( I also notice on the blogs I have visited that the defenders sound a lot like Kate, same verbiage etc.- how can she defend herself, in the name of her God (MONEY)
Sure it takes a lot of cash to raise a family, should have thought about that much earlier on. Kate will one day be yesterdays news, and then where will she be. There will be no pity.
Okay now I am done rambling,as I am sure this post is rather fragmented. Just wanted to write my thoughts down
Keep up the good work on the site !

This show is going to end soon and Kate will come out smelling like a rose (or ass flake to the rest of us). The Gosselins are the greediest money worshiping whores I've ever seen. Kudos to this site and those like it to show people the web of lies the Gosselins perpetuate.

This show has clearly 'jumped the shark.' Jon's blatant Allstate plug was simply embarassing. The whole 'it's hard being a reality tv star' nonsense was just the icing on the cake. I suppose Jon wishes for the 'good old days' of unemployment with 8 kids in the house.

Here's my advice to Jon and Kate . . . save every dime you can. This show is going off a cliff (is that why there is a new producer - what happened to Jen?).

As your kids get older, they are less and less cute (they were the real stars anyway - no one turned in to see J&K do anything cute).

Also, in this economy, no one is relating to the 'struggle' of moving into a new house and waiting for your new laundry machine(s). People simply can't relate to J&K anymore and you're starting to see the backlash.

I wonder if Kate has the 8 write letters of thanks to the Phillies, Globetrotters, Sesame Street, etc. or if the kids simply take it all for granted?

Just be patient Jon, you'll get your precious privacy back, probably sooner than you expect it.

For me it is not about the money. Everybody would like to make more money! I just wish she would start treating Jon like a man. She clearly makes all the decisions. I cringe when she yells "JON, HELLO" like he is an idiot. Where are her "friends" from earlier episodes? Where is Jodi? Maybe everyone has had enough! Doesn't she realize that she is teaching her kids to disrespect their father by constantly badgering the poor guy. I agree with the above post that Mady is going to be just like her. Mady's behavior is accepted because that is just "Mady." How can Jon consider quitting the show when they just bought a million dollar house? I think they are in a pickle!

Anonymous said...

Ugh. I really can't stand these two, especially Kate. She could care less about those children or her husband. She is an egomaniac. I love that she got really excited when Jon suggested that they do an episode about her fashion choices over the season! She seriously wants the show to be all about her.

I wish Jon would get some balls and tell her that he and the kids are not going to do the show anymore. He and Madie clearly hate it. Everyone I know comments about what an unlikable brat Madie is. I don't believe in criticizing children and I think her behavior is not atypical of many children her age. Never mind the fact that she gets no real attention from her parents, she is forced to live her life on tv and she is smart enough to know that people don't like her. If I had to guess, I would think that she's made fun of at school. If my child was constantly ridiculed by strangers in the open media, I would do anything and everything in my power to protect her. Not Kate. According to her, they can never go back to the way things were. SHE's enjoying herself. That's all that matters.

And the product placement is pathetic. Watching Jon talk about Allstate was truly painful.

I can't wait for this show to end. Hopefully when they go to school full time there won't be enough. Although I wouldn't dount if Kate hires someone to "home school" them.

wow, I'm bitter, but you've dedicated an entire website to complaining about people you've never met and really don't know. I found this site looking for a synopsis of the last episode and was absolutely amazed at the time you've put into making such an angry place. Who cares if they get free stuff or go on trips? What difference can that possibly make to you? Their kids seem happy to me, and if someone else offered me all the stuff they've been given, I'd take it too!
I'll certainly take your advice from the FAQ, and maybe you should as well; if you hate kate and her family so much simply stop watching them. jeeze.

gwop2009 said...

Amanda:
Jeeze, if you have such a problem with the site, why are you still here? I watch Jon and Kate because they are truly the gift that keeps on giving. Their stupidity is astounding as they simply sail obliviously into the next season. I snark, I don't get angry over TV people.

As for taking the freebies, if you'd whore your children out for freebies, you're truly in need of help.

/ends Amanda's 15 minutes of fame.

honestly, this blog distgusts me. i know, i know... i shouldn't waste my time reading this blah blah blah tell me what you want, i don't care! enough of that.

who cares about the gosselin family! worry about your own sorry life!... oh wait, you obviously don't have one since you have enough time to ramble about how pathetic this family is!

when my family attended the harlem globetrotters game in february, there were no kids with dissabilities at half time. in fact, at half time they featured these lame kids dribbling basketballs! i don't see why we should complain to them about featuring the clan.

i personally find the show annoying, but not enough to dedicate an ENTIRE blog to this. this actually sounds like something KATE would do.

enough of this rambling... i really don't care what you all think, this is a free counrty and everyone has the right to voice their opinion, including kate and you don't have to agree with it. if you don't agree with it, THEN DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING IT!

gwop2009 said...

Liz: Thanks for sharing now shut the fuck up and move on if you don't like it. Obviously, you do care what I think if you had to take the time to write or you're just a psycho. Glad to give you your 15 minutes too.

You trolls are like the black plague.... and twice as dangerous. Kate is a bitch and Jon is a ball-less man-whore. The sooner you realize it, the sooner you can seek therapy.

Keep up the good work!

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know where Kate was shopping for outfits?

Anonymous said...

Bitches are us? No seriously... I can't believe this trainwreck is going to be around for another season. Can't wait to dish on Kate more!

Anonymous said...

It was Ann Taylor for her, Gymboree for the kids.

gwop2009 said...

Isn't it always? But she claims to shop Kmart.... tsk tsk....

Anonymous said...

I believe it was the Ann Taylor LOFT. Pretty pedestrian shopping for such a big-time celeb (wink/wink). I guess she has to get hers where she can. A real upscale boutique would laugh her ass out of the store.

Oh my gosh, are you all really that jealous of them. I mean seriously get a life instead of trying to bash someone who you don;t even know on the computer. You all need to grow up. Jon and Kate are doing a wonderful job with their kids. And what does it matter if they got to meet that team, if it was some other family you would not be saying shit but because it's them it makes it some horribly thing. Like seriously GROW THE FUCK UP!!! You are just jealous because they have it all and you don't. I don't know what is wrong with people, if someone is doing good then their has to be a million people jealous of them trying to bring them down, but all you guys are doing is making yourself look bad. I'm happy that because of the show they are able to give their kids life experiences. I'm 18 and my family did not have the money to do any of the things that Jon and Kate can, so when i watch their show i am so proud of them for being able to give their kids the best life possible. And every parents out there knows that if they could switch places whit them they would. I hope that whatever they decided to do in the future will still let them be able to be close and also have the experiences that they have now. Like Kate said everything she does is for her family, and when you watch them you can't doubt that, they are amazing people, and you guys are just loser with nothing better in your life but those hateful comments. If you don;t like their show then don't watch it. If you don;t like them then don't watch them. But still you choose to, which shows you are all just jealous, so let me help out the Gosselins and tell all you asses out there to just F OFF!!

gwop2009 said...

By your definition, you must be a loser yourself if you have to rag on someone or something doing good. We still have freedom of speech in the States. I refer you to site the FAQ. Fuck off yourself if you don't like what is said here. (Kind of like what you said about folks not watching the show if they don't like it.)

I think you're using the Gosselins as a sick pseudo family that you somehow missed as a child. Seek therapy.

I'm sure you've heard this before, but you sound terribly jealous. You "hate" JK8, and that's fine. You are entitled to be annoyed by whomever and whatever. But why spend free time whining about them?

And, yes, the Allstate commercial in this episode was stupid and it was odd Maddy had to sit on the sidelines while her twin hung with the Globetrotters, but you could have easily avoided the 'pain' these scenes seemed to bring you ... don't turn on the television when that show is on TLC.

gwop2009 said...

Yeah, Kristi, I'm jealous that I can't have a cheating husband like Kate, that I am so worried about public image that I must deny and lie about 90% of my life and I am certainly jealous of her skunk-like 'do.

Why do YOU feel the need to spend your free time whining about something I've heard a million times over (and really don't care about)?
