Slow ticket sales or are organizations seeing the sham? is reporting that the Milton Hershey School has decidedly cancelled an appearance of Kate Gosselin at Catherine Hall as part of a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House.

An appearance by Kate Gosselin, scheduled for Saturday in Hershey, has been postponed indefinitely.

The mother of the Gosselin sextuplets and a set of twin girls, had been scheduled to speak at the Milton Hershey School's Catherine Hall in a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House.

Kate Gosselin and her husband, Jon, used the Ronald McDonald House facility after their sextuplets were born in the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She had been scheduled to appear to raise funds for an expansion of the Ronald McDonald House, which serves as a home away from home for families of patients in the medical center.

A spokeswoman for the house said the fundraiser was canceled because the confirmation of Kate Gosselin's appearance came too late to give the organization a chance to properly promote the event. Tickets were being sold for $45, $35 and $25. She said ticket sales were slow, a fact she attributed in part to the event falling on Memorial Day weekend.

The Gosselins, who star in the TLC reality show, "Jon and Kate Plus Eight," have been the subject of rumors of infidelity. Jon Gosselin, who was photographed with a 23-year-old school teacher, called the photo unfortunate, but not proof of infidelity. Last week, Kate Gosselin told People magazine she was horrified by rumors that she was having an affair with her family's bodyguard.

The spokeswoman for the Ronald McDonald House said the decision to postpone the appearance came from Hershey and not from the Gosselins.

Let's just be really honest here. As one commenter stated, "late confirmation" and slow ticket sales mean no one wants to see her sorry ass. I applaud HMS for cancelling this appearance. Hopefully they never reschedule. Who the hell would want to pay one thin dime to see this stupid selfish witch pedal her children and her orange ass for cash?

More Monday Juice- Jon and Kate Gosselin

As we all know, Kate was busy tanning (or doing other less savory things) on her 'tups birthday. We also know that TLC hasn't got the May 25th ep in the can yet.

All that has changed. Below are links to the belated birthday celebration of the 'tups. It will be interesting to see what spin the Gosselin's and TLC put on it.

Jon and Kate Plus 8 ----- and a movie?!?

The Chicago Sun Times is reporting that Jon and Kate are in negotiations to bilk the public for more green in a made for TV movie about their rise to notoriety.

Jon & Kate: the movie?
Parents of 8 may turn their scandals into a book and film

Just when we thought we'd heard enough of reality TV stars Jon and Kate Gosselin, their eight kids, the hoopla over those affairs and the reported breakup of their marriage -- there's now more.

I've learned the couple are not feuding as much as they are putting on and are quietly negotiating yet another deal.

The Gosselins supposedly are going to work with a ghostwriter to pen a book about their very public leap into the nation's consciousness -- a book that will then be turned into a TV movie.
Think about it: A small-screen flick, inspired by a small-screen reality show.

No word on who would be considered to play Jon and Kate, ''but it's likely it will be two unknown actors, picked for physical similarities to the Gosselins," said a source at TLC, the cable channel that airs the couple's hit show ''Jon & Kate Plus Eight.'

"Unknown," quipped the source, "kind of like Kate and Jon were before this all started."
