Kate, do you really expect us to believe that you don't care if you don't sell one copy of your book? Then why the h#$l are you on the road, away from your family, promoting it. If you wanted to give your kids a gift, you could spend more quality (private) time with them rather than hawking your wares.

If she didn't care about book sales she wouldn't have the strict rule about autographs. Books only, newly purchased, opened to the title page.
Somebody must have slipped her a copy of Taming of the Shrew to autograph!!!
