The GDNNOP is just off the hook!

In the conversation about the house, we have Jenn (on the 201+ page, scroll to find) who talks about her husband being a CPS person and he sees nothing actionable in the show. Also on the same thread page, Anya, one of the blog mods, thanks her and says its nice to hear from a professional. (Scroll down a few posts from Jenn's and you'll see it.)

This is a very interesting exchange. For a blog that took the Penn Mommy issue so personally and has a new blog about anonymity on the net, I would think they would ask for more proof than some random, anonymous person talking about having a family member in CPS. Seems a bit like the pot calling the kettle black as they have about the GWOP and its sources.

Methinks the old gals at Gosselins Do Not Need Our Pity are a little hypocritical...or maybe it is all part of their propaganda machine- "disinformation", "oversimplification" and "virtue words" all seem to be a part of this latest attempt at credibility on the part of the GDNNOP.

Under the propaganda post the author states, "While of course it is not solely the anti-Gosselin crowd that engages in propaganda tactics, I do think it's fair to say that such behavior is more prevalent in their community." In this case, I would change "anti-Gosselin" to GDNNOP" and I'd say they'd just about have it right.

I actually have a degree in Social Work but never worked in the field.I doubt they have shown actionable scenes but there have certainly been questionable situations shown.
The Gosselins could do with some parenting lessons. Who says "I can't hear any of the kids, and that's a good thing" in a new, huge, frightening house?

They are damaging these children and it is starting to show but any social worker has their hands so full it is hard to get worked up when you don't see physical abuse.

I am very anti-Kate; I am just trying to be realistic.

I will not watch Jon,Kate anymore. When they first started out, it was okay. Now it is all about money. The first house they lived in was very small, and I expect they had little money. The whole show is getting obnoxious!!!! I am not jealous of what they have or are receiving from others, (expensive vacations, home, clothes, nip and tuck etc.) The show needs to go back to their basic family values, and their show won't last much longer. You can only watch spoiled kids and maritial spats for so long. It is boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jon & Kate: You want to stop the paparazzi? Do you REALLY care about your kids? JUST WALK AWAY!! After watching last night it's more apparent than ever--THIS IS ABOUT MONEY! They just remarried a few months ago and now look at them. They barely speak to each other and you know the older kids have figured it out! The older girls did not talk to their Dad once and Mady didn't even want to be photographed as a "family"! She gets it! And where were all of the family members at the kids party? Have those relationships been destroyed too, all for MONEY? And Kate, why are you crying? You created this monster!! This show is now a JOKE!

People should stop watching, the whole thing has turned into a money making business for the family instead of a documentation of a loving family with multiples, for the children as they started out. Now, it's all about the money. Its heartbreaking to see what has happened to this family in such a short period and it can be summed up in one word "GREED". I hope it's worth it. Their kids, all 8 of them are going to need therapy beyond pedicures & spas. At some point they had to realize what direction the show was taking them and all they need to do is stop the show and eventually the attention they get from it will stop.

I recently saw a rerun featuring Jon and Kate on their big chair. Kate was actually critizing how Jon was BREATHING! He just sat their looking like "oh well, just more of the same nonsense." Ten years from now, the children will watch these reruns. What will be their reactions? Has Kate ever thought about how her put-downs of their father would impact all 8 kids? There's no way to edit out any of Kate's incessant critique or Jon's flat expression. Too bad. But, they have lots of money!

What everyone in show biz could of told The Gosselins is "Your life and lives of the ones you are responsible for" is now for the public to see. Money has destroyed this family to the point that the children are the victims and all Mom cares about is HER image on TV. Does she really think that we all are like Jon? Kate doesn't understand that she is as see-thru as a thin, clear pane of glass!!!!!!
Kates nagging and insults are a two sided sword and she gets enjoyment in humiliating her husband who has never spoken up, to humiliate HER like she does to him, till now. And NOW is too late
The "Green House" that was done for "Renovation Nation" was all done for FREE and Kate had the gall to snub Steve Thomas. Her words were "they need me but I'm on the phone...they can wait.
I wish that someone in a State Dept. office would realize that you make babies do a 6 hour take.
Kate....enjoy the money and loneliness for what you dish out in life,it WILL come back right at you.
For those who didn't know why Kates family will have nothing to do with her is because her father is a pastor of a church in Pennsylvania and when they learned of all the babies Kate and Jon were having, the church got together and sent them some new clothes and used and Kate was INSULTED with these used items and called her parents to say "I want money and I will only accept money". We the church people were devastated. So now we know the REAL side of Kate.
Just remember Kate...the children grow-up and then where will the money come from, since you need spas, N.C. beach houses at $10,000 A week, the nannies, who never really stay long, and the pool people. I would start now on the resume!!!!!!!!!
